    Squeaky rear hatch

    Anybody else here have a squeaky rear hatch. Driving down the road it squeaks going over the slightest bump and drives me nuts.

    try loosening the rubber stopper things on the bottom of the hatch on each side, so when you close it, it seals tighter and doesnt bounce around as much. or try loosening the actual hatch latch bolts and move it down so it closes tighter as well..

    if doing that doesnt work, then its not your hatch..its most likely your rear seat. where the rear seat latches on each side onto the 2 large bolt looking things is where it is probably squeaking.. just loosen them, and turn them a little and retighten them..my 97 did the same thing and it stopped squeaking and my hatch stopped rattling..so try both of these and hopefully that works.

    np..did u move the latch down and loosen the rubber stoppers on the hatch to fix it??
