    spark plug heat shield

So after the header install I ordered so n e heat shields for plugs but they won't be in until Thursday and I'm driving the car about 2 hours to Columbus for a tune. Do you think I'll have any issues with the heat of the headers and stock wires? None of them are touching the headers just curious because I haven't driven the car much since the mods

I haven't had any problems in the few years I have had headers on my car.

As long as you have clearance, you should be fine. The sleeves are just added insurance and help the wire last longer.
