sounds great
well boys and girls.I just got the exhaust , headers, underdrive pulley,msd wires,tuned and dyno=345 hp 354 torque and it sounds bad...!

Nice. What is the rest of your exhaust? I replaced my muffler with a performance muffler from Midas 2 years ago, then I put on my long tubes and ORY last November. I like my sound now also, no droaning but damn loud when I get on it! My intermediate pipe and the tailpipes are stock.

I have kooks longtubes going to a kooks y-pipe,stepped up to 3" into Borla the rest of the way back.
UMI sfc,whisper lid,k-n,diablo,shift kit,kooks long tubes-N-y-pipe,Borla 3" cat-back,power bond underdrive pulley,msd wires,front- baer gt brakes, slotted and drilled rotors , braided lines,tuned and dyno'd.345 HP and 354 torque

hey this might be a stupid question but i saw that you got underdrive pulleys. what are underdrive pulleys and what do they do?

Don't quote me, I might be wrong but I think its when you get smaller pulleys, basically it lets off a lot of stress off of the belt and it gets a faster rotation giving it more power? I'm not that great at that stuff so again don't quote me hehe Originally Posted by whiteLS1TA

Underdrive works by using a smaller crank pulley. This slows everything driven by it down, and that frees some HP (5-10). Some people relate the alternator, PS and AC are too slow at idle with this set up.
