OK, I was/am the first to say those wheels are awesome but $3 grand for any wheels are "pricey" I don't care if they are on the low end of custom wheels. What does that $3 grand get you vs factory or other aftermarket wheels on a F-body car? (I s'rsly want to know what makes them that pricey other than high quality tolerances)

I think they are more than $3000 with tires new. I don't have the answer but I can say look at the picture and they speak for themselves. Maybe some rim experts can chim in.

I'd say weight reduction can be a gain. That and looks are the primary reasons for wheel upgrades. I'm not sure what the weight difference is between stock and these but even if there is no gain I'd say the look is worth it for sure.

Yeah, they are, I was just talking about the wheels themselves being $3000 ( and that was on the low side of what I saw online) . And no doubt they look great, I love them, I just wouldn't spend that much for them when there are so many more WAY cheaper options out there.

Not bashing AT ALL, just wondering why the cost.

    ◦ Single Piece Forged
    ◦ 6061-T6 Aluminum
    ◦ CNC Machined

Look at a set in person some day and then look at some other wheels. You will realize why they are "pricey" then.

Have you ever used a sealant on yours to help preserve their looks? Thats what I did with mine, it has helped a lot. Keeping them nice is a lot of work, but a sealant will reduce some of that maintenance work.
