So today i took off my tops cruised to the beach with car had a nice little drive and all.. Well i was getting near home when i really impressed myself, i was doing about 28-30 and i punched it(remember stock car and automatic) i spun my tires..no water nothing. it didnt spin much but was much more than just a tire chirp. this has never happened to me. really just fell more in love with these cars. has anyone else done that with a stock car and auto.

Mines manual but it'll do it at 50 in second. I'll give you props though for doin it with an automatic

I love it when it does that mine does it like that also. But since I got that shift kit in it really rips second.

Might have helped that you were at the beach. SAND

But yeah mine spun alot with TM off and line pressures up. I cant wait to see what happens with Racing tranny(with Transgo kit) and a 3500 stall does :P

When I had to have my trans re-built they put one in but I am not sure what kind. It should help a little more also when I get a good dyno tune. I think?

no sand would have come off by then..had a 30 mile drive before i ended up doing that

my stock a4 will turn them over @ 40 mph and from a dead stop will spin up to 50 mph

is that without manually shifting? cause that is incredible that you can do that. I can only get it to do it when i stomp on it at 30 mph.

does it both ways........may depend on what type tires you have.....it doesnt smoke them @ 40 but it does break loose

When Im on it, it always barks going into 2nd, especially now with the predator. Did it before the predator also. Now about 35 it breaks them loose when I lay into it, it downshifts to 1st lights them up to around 45-50 then scratches going into 2nd. Im just waiting for the tranny to go, but it hasnt even started slipping yet. Not bad for 281rwhp.

I was drove a 2000 SS with an auto and ripped them loose into 2nd pretty good. I was really surprised by it seeing the car was supposed to be stock.

ya when i turn my TC off its easy but it does sometimes when its on.

M6 here. Smoked 'em the other night all the way to fifth gear. My brother was floored! He's like "i've never seen anyone smoke their tires through five gears!" It was awesome! Left tire tracks all the way through the intersection and then some. LOL
