Holy Sh*t! Colorado sure gets a lot of snow.

And to anyone who wants to drive their f body in the snow: DON'T! Have some respect for the car, it's only gonna put more miles on it, plus salt and sand will only hurt it! Not to mention you're gonna forget the meaning of the word traction....

You sound as if this is news to those of us who drive in the snow!! I had to drop every available dollar I had to get my car a few weeks ago and absolutely hate the fact that it must be abused this way, but unfortunately I ahve no choice!

No matter what you do its going to be horrible in the snow just save up till next winter and buy a POS that will get you from A to B when it snows but lately here in Colorado even if you have a 4x4 your still stuck at home as you can see by the post by Mr.Luos thats all we have got lately, although I think that was the bad storm we got like three springs ago correct me if im wrong ? But if anything try to avoid drivng it in the snow as much as possible which is hard to do sometimes but thats the best way to keep the ass end of the car froom being in front of you... )

    You are correct.

    Hoping.

Doesn't matter much for me. I have some little things I need to take care of before racing it again.

With good winter tires and about 150 pounds of weight in the back and I don't have problems going through up to about 6 inches of snow. I go better than most fwd with all seasons do.

    THE WS6 THAT COULD
on an a4 if you hit the breaks to much........ you will slide away, it much safer to put the TA up for winter, so you will avoid crashing or someone running into you that cannot stop. just my .02

Snow tires all around, 2 bags of sand in the back (60 lbs. each), fill up when the tank is half empty. The ground clearance is low, so don't go out if there's more than 4" of snow on the roads.

A4s are a lot harder to drive in the snow. My m6 get around so much better because i can control it with the clutch without hitting my brakes.

I think I just shed a tear for all the cars in the snow! I never tried driving mine in the snow...I managed to have a beater before I got mine. I thought about it, but couldn't bring myself to try it.

If your area allows chains or studded winter tires, I'd be doing all I could if I had to!

I never drove one all the time in winter. I had a 93 I9 drove last year only on clear roads. Few nights out drinking I hit some snow, but stuck to the main roads. I have more trouble in my driveway, blacktop and a nice curvy hill. I always heard good things about Blizzaks, but not cheap.
