SLP lid question ASAP

I just recieved my air lid but its for a 1998-1999 transam and i have a 2001 will the lid still work. Please help

It probably just doesnt have the hole in it for the air tube. you can just get a breather filter at autozone.

I think the Camaros were the only ones with the air tubes. I don't think any of the birds had them, though I could be wrong. In any case, it won't be an exact fit anyway, that's just the way the SLP lids are. It will fit, but you'll have to mess with it a little bit to get the clamps down right. But yeah, even if it does have the tube, those filters are cheap and it doesn't take that long to modify it.
