    slp lid help............

I am having trouble installing my new slp lid...........where it connects to the maf there is a little tab on the maf itself........that is restricting it from sealing all the way to the maf which causes my lid to hang over the actual box and not clamp securly........do i have to actually fit the lid over the little metal tab.........??? or just cut a piece out of the lid itself?

The tab at the 7 o clock postion ? My tab does not restrict fitment. Do not go over the tab, you will have no seal. My lid seals 2mm before that tab.
Do you have an aftermarket bellows causing the other issue ?

Thank you all for your help, I got it figured out FINALLY! I called slp and they told me to trim back my bellows because that was the problem! I did that and now it fits perfectly!!! They said that the motor mounts on the engine itself may have been put on too far forward and that may be the problem!
