    Sadly now demodded :(

    2000 has EGR...

You can also get rid of the Heimholz resonators if you want.

Did you get a smooth bellows?

You might want to modify the base and cut out the plastic piece between the base and the core support. This allows for more airflow.

Sorry I don't have any pix.

    ^ Very good!

I did my MTI lid at my friends shop. Although I did the mods myself he showed me what and where to cut.

Maybe you're replacing a 1998-2000 lid that does not have the AIR hole, with a 2001-2002 airlid that does have the hole & the AIR tubing kit.

    There's a difference in them, ..., the AIR port/tubing, ...

    Which one do you have?
You need the 21044 (1998-2000 without the AIR port/tubing.)

I bought the one with the air port tubing because when i bought it it says 2000-2002 since my car is 2000 i thought it would work. the 21044 actually says 1998-1999.

I looked at my airlid and i have a filter that plugs into the end of the hose to the right of the air lid it K&N par 62-1030. Can i just unplug the little filter and plug it into the air tubing kit.

Well i put everything together and the lid doesnt stay on snug for long. I have notice that mine has a plastic between the MAF and my lid. I have seen pics online and some cars do not. Does anyone know what im talking about?
