SLP Hood Assembly, 1998-02 Firehawk

I am looking at buying this hood for my 1998 Trans Am. First off will it even fit my T/A or does it only fit Firehawks? Second does anybody have pictures with on installed on theie car.

You would need the Firehawk front fascia as well, or cut down the one you have. Just dont mess up if you cut it.

fyi slp hoods fit like shit..... not soo much the side gaps (althoguth my fits still arnt perfect i had to file the hinge guide holes that are molded in the hood so i could move the hood farther back on the hinges) as the top of the fender formt he windsheild to heads lights the hoods just dont hug the conture liek they should and besides that... the price!!!

So my best bet is to just buy a OEM Ram Air Hood. Instead of dealing with everything to get a Firehawk Hood.

The WS6 or similar ram air hood would be easier and match right up without having to alter your front bumper. I have heard about a "Super Hawk" hood that looks similar to the SLP Firehawk hood, but I don't know if any alterations need to be done for that one to work on a regular T/A.
