Anyone running SLP headers and SLP Catted pipe kit?
Was wonderign if anyone ran with this and how they felt about it. Before you ask, i am going the catted route to get past visual inspection. On another note any ideas on how to get around the visual inspection with deleted rear 02 sensors woukd be great.

Those headers have the worst clearance of any other brand. Check the external section and read the header sticky to get an idea of what else is out there. In California they will fail you for headers regardless if you have cats and all your o2's etc. Only way is to find someone who takes some extra cash

This.
Haven't had them but the consensus seems to be the same as Lous's across the board from my knowledge. I'd avoid SLP anything tbh, it's just overpriced. Some of their products are good, (Lid), most aren't worth the money. (Bellow) Get Pacesetter's ARMOR coated if you're looking to save money and get a decent quality header, their coating is good up to 2000 degrees now instead of 13-1400. Or kooks/ARH, etc. SLp's exhausts especially are known for rasp and too much noise. Hence why if you plan on getting headers, don't get the loudmouth cat-back.2002 Black/Ebony M6 WS6: Lid, Filter, Smooth Bellow, P&P TB (!Bump Stop), Magnaflow Cat-Back (dumped after the axle), 4.10s, Hypertech ME Tune, eibach springs 4/4, LCA relocating brackets, PHB, free mods, 17" TTMs.

I have this set up as we speak,i have the headers, high flow cats,y-pipe,and loudmouth 1 catback, ill start with the headers,i like the headers and have no real complaint about them, the cats and y-pipe hang really low and scrape and scrub on just about everything and my car is stock height,so if i wanted to lower my car i couldnt unless i change to something that doesnt hang so low,the catback i like and dont have any complaints on that either, overall i like my set up minus the cats and y-pipe,it does have alot of rasp like mr. luos said although on my car you dont hear it unless you are deep in the throttle, ive never had any other system so i cant really compare it to anything else,i love the sound it makes and how loud it is especially now that i have h/c, so me personally i like the headers and catback but not the cats and y-pipe so much and you could probably find a better set up for the $$ because slp is pricey, hope this helps and good luck...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
If you are tagging the car in Cali you may not be able to do anything as moving the cats from the stock location is a violation of the smog laws...
