SLP cold air package on WS6
I was wandering if the slp cold air induction kit does anything for the WS6 because of the ram air hood. The whole package comes with the lid, filter, bellows, and cold air induction kit and is around $300.they claim about 20 more horses. I was wandering if im better just to get the lid and filter. Iv had my WS6 for over three years and its completely stock and Im ready to start modding. Any advice would be appreciated.

My advice would be to just get the lid and the filter. The bellows dont do anything really but make things look better, and the cold air induction really doesnt matter on a ws6 or this is what ive been told over and over. I would save the $200 and get a lid from one of the sponsors and the filter (about $100), put that $200 you would save toward an exhaust or something. I guess you could even do the lid, filter, and throttle body to start out on. Just research the site and honestly look at sponser web sites for info. Good luck, and remember this is just an opinion it isnt always right, and do what you want to do in the end.

thanks for the opinion, yeah I think im just gonna go with the lid and filter and put the money saved towards a mass air sensor.

You might want to do some more research on the MAF sensors before you get one. I have heard that it is better to keep the factory one instead ( that way you can put the $$ towards something else).
