the slp blackwing airbox
already have the smooth bellows and the slp lid. i was wondering if that little metal blackwing box was worth the cost and if it worked well with the ram air setup on the ws6? i did a search and most of what i found on the forum dealt with camaros...
thanks,

Not sure where you are finding a Blackwing air lid. They discontinued them a long time ago and aren't readily available.
They are fetching upwards of $300 b/c of their solid built construction, great fitment, and lastly, because they only came equipped on the limited edition vehicles. Therefore, collectors are the ones wanting them.
If you can get a "true" Blackwing lid for anything less than $250 it's a steal.
If not, get the standard SLP lid for $100.Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Yea, that's the standard SLP lid and cold air intake, not the Blackwing lid/box.
I personally wouldn't spend the money on the cold air kit.Last edited by 35th-ANV-SS; 08-21-2012 at 07:00 PM.
