Get a resistor for cheap at radio shack - installuniversity.com shows you how to install it.

IMO, any version is worth the money. I bought mine from Adaptive Performance for about $13 inc. shipping. Unlike the one in the ebay listing, it did not plug back into the tranny switch. It only capped the wiring harness. The dash light will still come on with any of these plug-in devices but you hardly even notice it.

Get it turned off using tuning software.

Kills the light as well.

i got it in today and will put it on tomorrow ...got to wait on tune until i get all my mods i want on ...dont want to tune it til thats done

I have the same skip shift eliminator on my 2001 WS6. It works great and it was really easy to install. Don't need to do any tuning for it. Just won't turn the light off though, but you get used to not noticing it anymore.
