Silver or Black??

I'm debating between the two... Going to buy my first T/A in the very near future and not sure which color to go with.. Any input / pics would be very helpful, so thanks in advance

i just went through the exact same thing. the guy i bought mine from had two identical cars, one black one silver. i seen them side by side and chose silver. looks better on that car IMO and black is a bitch to take care of.

Pick the one with the t-top cause they are AWSOME

ahh they both have t - tops.. the one i'm looking at is a black auto, i really want a 6 speed, and the silver is.. they're about the same price/mileage.

I just think a manual would be SO much more fun to drive.. I've just always loved black..

Just kinda trying to figure out a good route for appearance mods if i do go with the silver one.. any suggestions?

do you know if tehre's a diff in colors of silver? i was looking through the show your birds thread and some ppl said their color was "quicksilver metallic" or something like that.. is there a diff between that and silver, or are they just trying to be cute ?

I would pick the silver M6 over the black A4. Black is a real nightmare to care for and it sounds like you really want an M6 anyways.

With a silver one, you can do the CETA mod, with black you can't do it. You can do the blackbird stripes down the sides of the hood, if you choose. There are a lot of mods you can do with silver, just keep it simple and stick to a theme.

I will post a pic of a very nicely done silver TA in a second.

I was having the same problem too. I went with black and it looks GORGEOUS when its clean, but if you use it as a daily driver, it looks like crap and needs washed every few days. I'm kinda wishing I'd went with silver now. I got such a good deal on my car, I couldn't pass it up either way. I would've bought almost any color. My sig picture is after about 4 hours of clay barring and hand-waxing.

yeah that's what i was thinking, i currently have a black car now... and it gets dirty quick.. but i do agree that they look very nice when they're all cleaned up and waxed!

this would be my daily driver though so maybe you're right on that
