well i do agree about that part, but for dd tires, they do great in the rain. The first time i sprayed my car it was definitely an asshole puckering experience, but thats what drag radials are for.... but as far as ride quality, and driving in the rain i love my sumitomo's, there are better things to spend money on than daily use tires anyway.

He needs to admit that TT2s suck. And yeah, Sumi's are cheap for a reason. Melissa's car was nearly undriveable on 'em.

For a good tire in the size our cars fit, you are looking to spend a decent amount of money.
I have heard some guys say the General UHP is pretty good and isn't that expensive, but I haven't ever tried them.
The best street tire I have tried is a BFG KD. Granted, I gave up on street tires shortly after putting the 402 in the car, so I don't have much experience with too many tires.

    My fusions do OK
got a set of Nexens in my garage waiting to be put on, will wait and see on them. I definitely wouldn't recommend falkens, friend had them and they sucked. One tire i really liked was Khumo MX tires.

to everyone running 315's, did you have to do the "hammer mod" and roll the fender? or is that dependent on the wheel/tire combo and backspacing? thanks

    Not everyone has to
for instance running z06 wheels, 10.5" wide in the back, chances are you have to
depending on your backspacing, you may not need to
also depends on your ride height

Well, hammering in the inner fenders isnt too bad, you definitely want an adjustable panhard bar if you dont already have one
That way you can keep the rear end centered since you are lowered
It all depends on your setup
Better check the wheels and tires section of the site
