Should the tires be smoking?
I have 99 WS.6, Hooker LT's, Borla Catback. When I launch from a dead stop with the TCS off I hardly leave a mark. I thought my TA would light em u? I have stock Goodyear F1's. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Hooking up is good!!!!! Why the hell you worried about smoking the tires? Wait till you get more power than you'll be wondering why can't you hook!!!
I would rather hook up than burn the tires off my car anyday.

If your car is hookin up, you should be proud. People pay thousands of dollars for there tires to hook up and not spin

if its an A4 and it has stock gears you cant expect to much from a dead stop.especially if it has 2.73's. When I still had the stock gears in mine it would only turn them over a couple times and go and it was running fine.
I wish I had your problem..Id give anything to keep my car from spinning.

M6 and I can burn them through third. Don't know why you can't burn them if you drop the clutch.

Red- 2002 T/A
When my '02 T/A was bone stock I would spin all the way through first and part way through second whenever I floored it and it had 2.73's and an A4. Don't see why your WS.6 won't. I would do the dyno run also. Around here it's $75-$100 for three pulls and if you want A/F readings its another $25.

If your tires are good and your an a4 with 2.73 your not gonna spin all that much, my a4 only started to spin when my tires got bad.
