Stay away from this car. Sounds like it needs a tranny. Don't know what you mean by a grinding in the rear you said tires rubbing, if so it's been wrecked. Anouther reason to say it's been recked is the mold in the rear. should not be leaking. Run away from this one.

7500 is a good price for a T/A with a properly working tranny but 3 years ago i paid 11,700 for my non ws6 T/A with 45kmiles on it and that included the 3 year warrenty

so we took it to the track today....only got in two runs before the rain canceled it....and my roommate is who bought the car....but anyway it did better than we both expected...11.12 at 95 in the 1000 ft which is what our track is....i think an 8.6 in the 1/8th....

11.1 at the 1000' mark is good for roughly 13.0-13.4 I would guess.
    Not too bad.

picked up a auto trader mag two days ago, there is a car listed in winston-salem n.c. it is listed as....1998 pontiac firebird 147500 mi,$3500....picture shows a trans am probably red(pic is in black and white) if it is a fair condition 98 t/a that is a hell of a deal.there is a 76 firebird in charlotte for 700 bucks,no motor or trans, that would make a killer resto-mod with a ls1 in it!

I ended up only giving 7000 for it...i've been rough on her but still managed to get 16 mpg. pretty sure that noise is just a transmission mount so i'll get on that tomorrow. The car is just so damn beautiful

No matter what car is on the road...not many pack the visual appeal of a ws6
