shitty day
so today has sucked balls big time! it started out with me having to get up at 5 AM for work, then i got home around 2 and started getting ready to put on my true duals, only to find out that my x pipe is about 3" to narrow, so then i had to put everything back on b/c i had to make a trip to jonesboro, so now i gotta spend i dunno how much to have some kind of elbow welded onto my x pipe so it will fit onto my LTs, but thats not all! im on my way back from jonesboro which is 60 miles one way from my house, and all the sudden i hear this loud banging coming from the back, so i pull over and see that my catback has come unclamped from the y-pipe! so i have to bootleg 2 bungee cords to it and drive home in 85 traffic with open headers basically, fun stuff! it was pretty cool to scare the shit out of people driving next to me though....thanks for letting my rant!!

you just bought an x pipe and piping and mufflers or did you buy an actual true dual system? I went with TSP true duals, hooked right up to my Pacesetter longtubes.

yeah i think thats were i went wrong, i bought a universal x pipe from summit and the moroso spiral flows, ive taken it to 4 or 5 shops today and they all came to the same conclusion, im gonna loose all ground clearance, one guy said with it being on there, he wouldnt even be able to get it off his rack???? did the TSP system have clearance issues?

Yeah best to do some research ahead of time, no way the universal x-pipe would be a direct fit! I would have left it off and made the drive!

Mine hang pretty low but there is still about 3-5" of clearance I just avoid the usual stuff like speed bumps etc.

Keep us updated. Also, while you are at it, make sure that all of the ground wires are tight. I wasnt getting any fuel or spark to my engine, and it was because the computer ground wire just wasnt there. I hooked one up and it fired right up.

what other ground wire would there be other than the battery one? and her dad was saying that the check engine light is staying on so he is wondering where he could get a scanner from? he rented one from autozone but it fit 96 and up, hers is a 95 T/A.

I just read about a lt1 with no spark and it was the ignition control module located next to the coil. The guy bought a new optispark and all and he didn't even need it!
