    Shavin' Weight!

Decided that removing the spare tire and jack, EGR, and AIR pump and lines just wasn't enough.

I have done that as well.

Then I realized how little weight I actually took out of the car.
The back seat is next to nothing. Jack and spare are fairly heavy though.

Every little bit helps bro. You know that better than I do.

I thought about removing the backseat just so I wouldn't have to deal with giving more than one person a ride at a time.

Thats actually the main reason why I pulled it out. I just decided to use it to my advantage. I honestly don't understand why the hell they came with a backseat but whatever.

It's a place to store shit I guess. I hate having people back there, especially behind me since I like to have my seat all the way back.

thats the only way I can even fit in my friggin car is with it as far back as it goes. If I get any taller, im gonna have to get racing seats to remount further back.

Just take the front seat out and sit in the back.

why not just out the passenger seat? its kind of cool having only rear seats and ur seat, the passenger seat is more weight and if u need to give them a ride its easy access and they have a lot more room plus u can still carry shit

Excellent. I finished in the top 12 before being eliminated by a Nova that ran a 13.413. My best time was my first run 14.69 but my R/T was a .507. Had I actually knew when to drop the hammer, it probably would have been better. However my best R/T was a .098. Not bad considering it was my first time out. Outran a captain on the CSP too, stupid ass chargers .

    Congrats!!!

Sounds like you had fun, and that is what it is all about.
Can't wait to get back up there myself.

Thanks. I can't wait to go again. The only thing im worrying about now is if that damn 10 bolt is gonna go or not. If it does, it'll just give me an excuse to get a moser 9" with 3.73's

I ran a couple times with the 402 in the car...on the 10 bolt. With Nittos.
    Held up fine.

After what, 3 runs? Hells bells, maybe I'll just rip out the tranny along with the rear once it breaks and find some wrecked Z28 or Firebird with a T-56. I would kill for a 6 speed, I love rowing the gears in my dads vette.

I guess that answers the question in the PM I just sent ya.

I know my car would be quicker with a solid automatic, but I enjoy the M6 too much. And it is more of a street car than anything.

Yea big mistake replying to the pm before this for me as well. Oh well.

I know its better to have an auto for drags, but I can honestly say that I would rather row gears than let some goofy ass computer shift for me.
