    Yep, usually it'll throw P0440 - should go back off after a few cycles after tightening it though.

    Either reset or run to the nearest VatoZone and have them pull the code.

    Just looked it up, MIL should turn off after 3 consecutive ignition cycles without a failure for P0440.

    Service Engine light resolved

    Thanks guys that"s exacly what it was.Went and purchased a locking gas cap to prevent tha again,and NBMZ28,that code was dead on.

    I highly suggest that you get a locking gas cap as the factory ones have a tendancy to vibrate loose.
