Ah, I love this thread. I have fun with ricers all day long. The only one that gave me trouble was a track only Civic one day. 750HP with 12" slicks on the front. Looked like carp. He did squeak out a 12.30 at the track on Drag Slicks to my 12.59 on drag radials.

It was fun .... it's the only one I've respected.

Generally, it's .... letting them get 3-4 car lengths then I hammer it. After I get doorside about 65-70mph I light up 3rd for about 10' going buy them. It's funnier than shiete !!!
A can't stop laughing when I see them their nanos kicked in. I have to really focus at the time or I might miss the 4th. So, far I'm good.

Now, a TT Z car beefed up or TT Celica I'd watch out for .... but a Sentra ... come on in their best dreams they only wish ....

i concur. a twin turbo celica may break 13s on 25 psi.

    pieces of crap.

now the 300zx tt will be in the mid 500s with alittle boost from nice size turbos. they can be quite nasty (but they RARELY are).

Yeah realized most wouldn't understand that after I posted it just didn't get around to changing it. I meant Supra .... which to me has always been a hopped up Celica. I've owned a couple of Supras an Celica in my life. Celicas were great. Supras were a maintenance nightmare from h#!!.

I know a couple hence my statement. In stock form not a problem ... add 5-10K look out. But, add 5-10K to our cars .... OMGonnnne !!!
Even my 350Z with 5-10K in it would be a better build. You have to spend big to play with the big boys... and 5-10K aint much in that circle.

My supra has broke 3 tiems but thats only because i make more power then the parts can handle, only my motor has broken from that everything else is holding together better than ever, although the suspension and drivetrain is rather new, the car itself is a 87. The motor, tubo setup, suspension, tranny, and rear end have under 10k miles on them all.

are you referencing the supra or the celica now. vastly different animals.

add 10 grand to a celica and i bet it breaks 12s. add that to a supra and i bet it breaks 12s

I hate you! As much tinkering that those require I'd still give a rt ___ to get one again is as good as condition as yours seems to be in.

Meant Supra from the get go. Celica TT they didn't make. If you did add a TT set up to one you'd most likely twist it all up without reinforcements. Even when I owned my Supras I still call it a Celica for shock factor and getting races...
