selling the WS6
That is right, after just buying my 2002 Trans Am Ram Air it in Apr 2007. I'm already selling it.
I've wanted this car for so long. But sometimes you just have to do what is right for the family.
When I bought the car my wife was pregnant. I thought no big deal, we still have a 4 door sedan for family trips. And if push comes to shove I can put a car seat in the back seat.
Then He was born, and we quickly realized my car would never have more than just me in it (at least for not another 3 or 4 years)
Then we found out we were having another baby- Due this Aug.
I found it hard to have a car that is solely for my pleasure and serves no other purpose.
So.... I'm trading it in on a 2004 Nissan Titan LE 4x4 Crew Cab.
This baby has every option under the sun. I'm talking Navigation, Rear DVD entertainment, memory/ heated, leather seats. Sun roof/ Fosgate stereo system,Tow package, you name its got it.
It is a sad week- to let the TA go-- but it is also exciting-- because I've wanted one of these trucks since they came out (2004).
Cool thing is-- Insurance is going down 125 bucks every 6 months, and my payment is going down about 45 bucks a month.
I'll still be around for alittle while. Reading about other people's fun experiences with their LS1 equipped cars.
I hope I didn't piss to many people off on here this past year or so. Once I get the Titan, I'll post up pics.
PS -- according to some people ... I'm now a "ricer". because my vehicle was built in Japan--- Oh wait.. It was actually built in Ohio. I'm sure somehow I'm still a ricer. (I'll never understand that mentality)

I made sure my WS6 and my wifes car was paid for before I had any kids, but that's not easy for everyone to do. Now I don't feel guilty about having a car that's driven 1k miles a year.

+1. My new baby is just two weeks old. I sacrificed and made sure to buy an affordable $7800 non-WS6 auto so I could get it paid off quickly instead of spending twice that on a 6 spd WS6. I now own my car free and clear and can focus on my family, which is way more important than any car.

Well, the WS6 is gone -- But man this truck is nice. Me and the wife and son, went out to eat tonight, and my wife loved the room, (so did I)--
Its no WS6-- but it is a completely different type of vehicle. But overall I am excited about the Titan.
Funny thing was, while I was signing paper work-- they were cleaning it up, I had to go get some stuff out of the car, and asked why the rush. They said they have someone coming to look at it in a few minutes.
When I get some pics, I'll post'em up.

Pic
Not in show room condition, but pretty nice-- Needs middle section of the front bumper.
Future plans--- Mini Lift/ leveling kit, and wheels/ 35s (if they fit) I think they will.

I pulled this off the car dealerships site- and they won't expand without looking very distorted,
But here are a few shots of the truck.
edit-- I think I figured it out--- with the help of my wife!

I always had a T/A or a Mustang when my kids were little. It was a pain in the ass to get them out of their car seat, but it was a small sacrifice to pay to have a sports car. Good Luck with your new truck.

What kind of gas mileage does your truck get? My Tahoe gets between 14-15 MPG.

1999 Formula WS6 M6-sold- 2001 Silverado Z71
I have a baby coming in 2 to 6 more weeks. I hope I can fit a car seat in the back, but if I can't I guess I start driving my Grand Cherokee more (which I primarily use for boat towing and winter driving.) Hmmm...come to think of it, I wonder if I gonna have to sell my boat?

Congrats-
If you have firbird or camaro-- car seat is all but impossible, especially if you have a passenger in the front.
My son's convertible car seat (rear facing) was practically impossible to get in, and after battling with it for 20 minutes, I decided it wasn't worth it.
So we just took the other car. Then I realized with another kid coming in Aug, it made no sense to have this car, when I need more room.

That is a nice truck. My uncle has one and it is pretty sweet. It sucks to sell the car, but you got to do what you got to do.
