Secret Easter egg - Tail lights ??
First off, I'm new here, so hello to you all. ( Registered in 06 when I had my first 4th Gen- Didn't ever post, not sure why )
Been an F-Body guy for years, had several of them from all Gens. I'm on my second 4th Gen car and it's a gooder, 2000 Hawk, build # C004. Long story but the old man that used to own it had a newer LS6 installed. It's got SLP headers and strut tower brace as well. She's a beauty !
Anyway, the point of this post is about the honey comb tail lights. A friend was outside the car, he wanted to hear the exhaust, so he went to the rear of the car. While standing there he noticed that when I put my foot on the brake, the lights project a Pontiac arrowhead onto the ground. Is this a secret Easter egg or does everyone know they do this ??? It seems to be reflecting off the bumper. I don't know for sure.

Nope never seen that before. It looks good.
Maybe it's a SLP thing on Firehawks? I'm more likely to believe that it's an aftermarket item placed on by former owner.

It does not look like an add on to me at all, just a lucky light pattern. I will get the wife to hit the brakes on mine tonight and look for it, but I can honestly say I have never looked at the light pattern on the ground for any of my vehicles brake lights ever.
I did think of adding the convenience light ones to the bottom of the doors. Those are a nice lil aftermarket touch.

Stock lights and SLP never touched them. I think Pontiac just slipped it in for fun. Looks better on certain types of ground.
