No, you have to drop the rear axle, at least on the right side if not both to get the pipe out. Pull the shocks loose and take the spring out. Wasn't that hard.

People post photos of custom plates on the web all the time.

    It really makes no difference.
If I wanted to see a photo of a license plate, I'd walk out to the curb & see hundreds within the hour.

I have a 1998 TA Vert A4 18K miles. I have just recently purchased it from the original owner. I have a paper for any time somebody touched it..oilchanges, etc. The orignal owner wanted a lil bit nicer tires, so I do have new tires on them, only have 1500 miles on em. He also saved the original tires, they are sittin in my garage. Ill probably use them after I need to get some new ones. He gave me a cover, the dealership sticker, and anything else you can possibly think of.

    I LOVE this car!!!

Sweet car. Not too many low-mile '98s around anymore. SOTL still? Mine just turned 16K last fall, original tires, factory battery replaced last spring. Oh, and from the outside mine looks bone-stock too (unless you peek in the window and see my shifter....... or look underneath and see the KBDDSFCs).

Well, for a 'vert, "Triple Black" is black top, black paint, and black interior. Although in '98 the closest interior to black was "charcoal", which isn't quite as black as the "ebony" that came out in '99 or '00. But hey, charcoal, ebony, 220, 221, close enough for government work.

The only 4th-gen T/A that came w/ black wheels was the '02 CETA, and that's certainly not "Triple Black".
