    Road Trip

A few days ago we got back from our first road trip with the T/A, and I'm really impressed. We went from NC to Texas and back, and thankfully had nothing but good weather. Well, I've heard people say that the ride is all rough and stuff, but it was mostly smooth sailing with the only exceptions being in construction areas. The gas mileage was good too. With the wife and me, the dog (who weighs like 10lbs hehe), and assorted luggage inside and averaging 70-75 in 6th, we regularly got 25-27mpg, with the best being 27.5. The trip started with us picking it up from the dealership, who put a completely new rear end in it. Turns out, some time while they were doing "We Owe" work on it, the "bearing spun in the housing and damaged all the parts around it." Ended up being in the neighborhood of $2000+ to fix it, but my $1500 warranty covered it. All in all a good trip.

I think that they are great cars for a road trip. Air, leather, Cruise, 320+ HP, and high 20's mpg. Way better then my truck.

Yes sir I agree. They love the freeway. I had the smae thing happen with my rear. I had them put 4.10's just for good measures.
