    remove door bumper guards?

so, im thinkin about removing the door bumper guards and the "trans am" lettering on my doors and side panels. the "M" has fallen off on the passenger side so im pretty sure im gonna atleast remove the letters. i know people have posted pictures of it before, but i fail at searching. if someone knows a link to a pic of a ta preferably silver without the guards or lettering i will love you long time.

    thanks for any help

found this on Google IMage Search: http://shopofcolor.com/images/transamramair_hzok.jpg

I personally think the bumper guards and lettering add a dimension to the car. Hmm...

I actually like the idea of removing the trim piece and letters and having the letters and a small phoneix airbrushed on

I replaced with custom letters and removed the trim.. I'll have the letters painted on as they won't last

After I airbrush it I plan on reclearcoating the doors so I can keep the design bright and polished.

I removed mine and I'm much happier now. I started with the door trim and was instantly pleased with the results.

Then, I moved on to the 'Trans Am' emblems and was even happier.

I would but mine is a dd and parking in a lot scares me as it is, let alone with no guards.
looks sweet though, keep the lettering, or get a custom one.
