    Question Removable, or Shaving required?

I'm looking into some custom badge work, but before I get too involved in it, does anyone know if the Trans Am badges on the doors can be removed, or does it need to be shaved off?

Just wondering if anyone ever just has the badges removed and then air brushed underneath their clear coat if they get a new paint job. My buddies dad has it done to his gn and it looks really clean.

I can't decide if I want to take mine off or not. They are orange and don't look too bad on the black, however. One little section of paint has chipped and it is a gold metal flake looking color. Didn't these all come as matching color to the car?

Only reason I'd really remove is because it's a pain in the *** to wax around them.

Your badges are orange, they must have decals overs them then. I have black badges on the doors and my ram air stickers are gray, i drive a white car so not sure what colors they use on others.

I have a black trans am and the badges are black - I think they are supposed to be the same as the body colour

Nope, Not decals. They've been painted and cleared.

I think orange wouldn't look to good on black unless you were going for a Halloween look, red or chrome on black would look really good IMO.
