    Releasing fuel pressure.........

Hey everyone i'm going to be replacing my fuel filter tomorrow, and it says i need to release the fuel pressure. I know how to do it at the fuel rail with a screwdriver. But my question is how does the system get the fuel pressure back after i'm done with the install? Is there another step i'm missing?~chris

It will atomatically repressurize once you turn the key to the ON position.

Yeah, the fuel pump will prime the system once you turn the key to ignition.

I didn't release the pressure from my system when changing the fuel filter.. just let the fuel fall and caught it in a bucket.. lol
