Batman Black- 1996 Formula
On registration what does your model say?
Well i got my plates renewed and it says Make: Pontiac. Model: FTA. firebird trans am or formula trans am? mine is firebird formula. what does yours say?

Probably depends on the state's abbreviations - mine only lists the VIN, D/L#, plate#, etc and just says 01 CHEV on it. Florida tags are based on weight listed in their database. Been insured in two different states and both ID cards stated Camaro Z28/SS though.

My registration just says pontiac and vin# but insurance list it as pontiac formula/transam

Registrations are based on the Vin# and the Vin does not distinguish between Formula or Trans Am. It merely identifies the car as a V8 Firebird.

My insurance has it as a Formula... But how I understand it, thats how they start.. and get the "upgrades" for the T/A and WS6... but I know what it is.

might want to tell them about that- in the event of an accident, i think the T/A is worth about 5 g's more lol...
