I am on my second set of power slots with Hawk pads. I was surprised that the first set wore down with one set of pads, but I like the performance with no noise and they just clamp harder as they heat up.

Ive been looking at ebc dimpled and slotted rotors regular rotors suck in the rain.....basically no brakes till they heat up then once they get wet they fag out again. does anyone make rain sheilds for open disc brake cars? has anyone had luck with slotted/dimpled rotors in wet weather?

I wonder if different pads would work better for you. You can get shields that are meant to prevent brake dust from getting to your rims, so that may help with what you want, but they look like ass(IMHO), and you won't be able to see the brakes at all.

with the ebc rotors, street side auto recommends ebc red ceramic brake pads. he swears by them. ceramic is grabby but when dampness sets in they are noisy as hell. wish there was a straight answer
