recommendations for slotted rotors on 1999 TA

I'm going to need brakes and rotors soon so I'm looking for recommendations for replacing the OEM rotors with drilled/slotted rotors.

Are Baer's the ones to buy or Power Slot's.

    Any recommendations appreciated.

    Thanks, Jon

I will be replacing my stock rotors with Brembo blanks.

    Not drilled or slotted.

$169.00 for all 4? Holy crap! I have been looking on there and don't remember seeing a set of 4 for that low. What brand name are they if you remember. Otherwise, I'll just check out the brake section again.

Got it. Yeah, I've seen those but, was cautious about the low price. You haven't had any probs with them though?

So, there would be no need to paint the inner surface then. No rust at all yet? Or, did you paint them anyway?

Better clean the inside of that rim every now and then. Looks like the inside of a muzzle chamber of an A-10 30mm Gun......lol.

by the way...they are also directional rotors...so that is something to look for when looking into the cheaper rotors.

After I posted that, I went out and washed my car and got the inner rim as much as possible. The only way to do a really good job is to wash the rim off the car.

Brembo's drilled rotors come with specific warnings about not being for racing applications. Basically, they are for looks on the street only. They will crack at the holes and fail under hard use. If Brembo's will do this, what do you think ebay cheapies will do? If you want good rotors that actually can handle some abuse and look a bit better, get the Brembo slotted and coated rotors. They aren't cheap, but like you said, you get what you pay for. Tire rack sells them for a decent price.
    Blanks for me.
