rear seat belts

I took my seat belts out to change out my interior,when I put the new interior in everything looking good,But when l went to put my rear seat belts back in they seem to have lock up some how ,so pick up another pair for $20 and they did the same thing ...does anyone know what I'm doing wrong???

if the retractors are tilted at a certain angle, they lock up. Usually you just tilt them into the correct orientation and they'll work fine.

If that doesn't work -- lightly tap the housing as you move it around and see if it frees up.
