David T's is near where i live...
Canadian Fbody prices are ALOT higher than US (even though the dollar is damn near equal)
Any LS1 f-body will probably cost you 7-10k higher in canada because there are so few of them around.
This guy is still out to lunch on his prices but only by about 3-4k on average compared to what others go for in Canada.
People still ask anywhere from 37-50k for a VERY low mileage ls1.
Back in 02 when the dollar was shit... people were paying 60k+ for a collectors edition WS6
Edit: this is EVERY Ls1 trans am for sale in all of CANADA on autotrader

check out the pricing

Wonder how hard it is to import cars for sale into Canada, might be a lucrative business if the value is so much higher.

trust me i have considered this many times!
Only problem is, you can only sell them between april and august.. after that no one wants them because it is winter time. These cars also tend to sit on the market for a while before the right buyer comes along.
But I still think someone could make a few bucks at it

hmm maybe we can make some sort of underground railroad for fbodies from Texas to up there To bad my conscious would be hitting me hard for letting nice Fbodies leave the state

I plan on keeping this one for a Long time. The last Camaro I had was only sold because I got cheated out of the long block when trying to get it rebuilt This one I hope to keep in one piece for a very long time.

Yes, those are above market for here. However, you have to look at where the seller is. For those of you who don't know, Edmonton is an oil town (oil sands) 200 miles north of Calgary. I had considered moving there until I looked at the cost of living. Even with the big 6-figure salary I would have had, I would have been broke after paying rent. OK, maybe not broke, but it didn't leave enough in the bank to justify moving to the middle of nowhere.

lol yea edmonton is shitsville... but calgary is no better really. Avg house price is 400k and the average house is a piece of shit haha.
bottom line... don't buy a performance car here- too much $$
what does a used c6 vette go for in the us on avg?
say an 06 c6 coupe with a 6 speed with maybe 15-20k miles?
In calgary that car would probably sell for 55-65k

It would of been so much cheaper to come to the US and buy a car and then bring it up to Canada or even sell it in Canada to make some good money

Just a few weeks ago I was on the Chevy lot brand new LS3 six speed Vettes for around 50k. Defiantly a big price difference.
