Ratio?
What rear end ratio are usually in a 2002 ws6? Mine has no tag..My 2002 z28 had 2.73's and my T/A feels alot lower than that to me.

I think I remember you saying in another thread you are a M6 so it would be 3.42

Rule of thumb is 373 for A4 and 411 for M6.
Gears really depend on what your future plans on for the car.

Check your door codes. No sense in guessing. Also, what are your RPMS at 60mph. Another easy way to tell if you are on stock tires.

there is a rpo code on the inside drivers door that will tell you exactly what gear your t/a was born with,i just can't remember it,probably can be found in the drivetrain tech section.i am gonna put a 3.42 in mine in the near future.

^^ Dealer is correct, the auto should have 3.23's. On your driver door are the RPO codes for your car. You can decode most of them at this site: http://www.marshu.com/ws6-firebird-c...codes-2000.php If I recall, GU5 is the code for a 3.23 rear axle.
