The Factory Lid itself is the same on all F-bodies.
The lower Airbox (or upper core support) is the main difference on Ram Air Pontiacs.
It's opening is roughly an inch taller then the standard cars mail slot, and I do not believe it will fit under the stock sleek beak hoods.

there are far better things to spend $150+ bucks on than an air lid. and yes this isnt new news

first its not even close to being 150 bucks and second well help me out here, i obviously couldnt find it. what would be the point of new threads if everything has been covered years upon years ago? cant we just start a new conversation about it?

There is no difference between the regular TA lid vs. Ram Air lid. You want an aftermarket lid anyway, this gets rid of the silencing baffles the factory put on, and is a proven 5-10 HP gain.

like 9T8 said, the lower airbox is different on WS6 cars, to raise it so it better lines up with the WS6 hood. However, that lower airbox has been discontinued, so you have to search ebay or other places to find one.

The lower air box for a ws6 will not fit under the stock hood or firehawk hood. I got one for free a while back before I had my ws6 hood and tried it for shits and grins. It's a no go.

You'd be better off doing the free mod and trimming the underside of the lower air box to bring in the air from in front of the radiator.

You're better off putting a CAI on then forcing warm air at a low PSI into your engine.
