    Ram air parts

Have purchased a ram air hood for my 1998 trans am. What other parts do i need to purchase to convert to ram air intake?

WS6 Ram Air on 4th gens was:

Ram Air Hood, WS6 Air Lid Tray, 17" wheels, Dual Tip Exhaust & Suspension mods.

The try is raised up by 3/4" over the Non-WS6 Air Lid.

I'm trying to post what one looks like and my photobucket is acting stupid. I'll post later when it works again.

Good pics for example. I am looking at a hood myself.

Can a regular tray be cut and raised?

Would you believe that the WS6 tray is one that I repaired. It literally was broken with several pieces missing.

This is what it was like when it was given to me. It also had a couple of cracks that was repaired as well.

Now you could try to but IMHO it's going to be a task. The main reason is the material you need to put in place and re-enforce it would not come out right. With this one it was broken in an area that I graphed from a non-WS6 tray.
