Try your best to get a used one, it will fit much better than an aftermarket one.

There are a few different profiles of ram air hoods for that car. There's a low profile scoop (like on the firehawk), a high profile scoop (like on the WS6), and the crazy big 5" tall ram-air hoods. It's personal preference. I like the WS6 style hood, so that's what I bought for my '98 TA. I purchased my hood from RKSport.com There were probably cheaper ones around, but a friend of mine reccomended them. Here's a link to the hood I bought :http://www.rksport.com/main/part_det...mdid=4&catid=4
yes, it's fiberglass. My stock hood was metal. I looked at used ones, and being how my car was black, I had to paint it. Not all black is black if that makes any sense. But I suggest you look around, see if any friends/ dealerships have any 'hawks or WS6 or just a Ram Air T/A.. so you can look at the subtle differences in profiles.

US Exotics hoods are excellent. No fitment issues at all. It fits as good as a stock hood.
