Ram Air emblems

Hey guys, I am almost to the point where I am ready to paint my car. Before its painted, they obvioulsy have the scrape the hood decals. I know 3rd Shift makes awesome replacements. BUT, on Ebay a while back I saw some Ram Air emblems. They were the same font with raised chrome letters, similar to the Grand National Hood emblems. I have been searching Ebay and can't find them at all. Anyone buy these before or seen them around? Can you point me in the right direction?

we can do raised polished aluminum in 1/16". Might be too tall, we can also cut you the RamAir vinyl in any color you want, same scale/font.

Those are the ones I was looking for. Hey 3rd Shift, do you have any pix of it preferebaly on a car? How much? Id rather buy from someone I know I can trust.

Not looking for vinyl, if I don't have too. If I stay with Black, I want to chrome to stand out a little more.

i dont like the look of the raised emblem personally. I would go with the vinyl sticker.

Vinyl stickers in chrome make it a lot easier to wash and wax, I plan on taking all of my emblems off and putting stickers back on if/when I get my car repainted.

Honestly no. We just got the material in and haven't used it with any products yet. The other thing you might want to consider is "doming." We would cut the letters from chrome finyl, then add like a clear "bubble" to them. It would be shallow enough, with nice rounded/tapered edges. Best example I have is the way we do our arrow emblems:

Ok, Sandman is my materials/production guru-he told me it's a no can do b/c the bubbling/doming material has a negative effect on the vinyal adhesive and makes it want to peel back on itself. Sorry for misleading you man...only in a perfect world are things right the first time

No problem, I understand. I was thinking about the comment made by Ls1camino about the washing and waxing. Its making me think harder about it. Well, I still got some time left. Ill check you 3rd shift if I decide to go with the vinyls.

My car didnt come with OEM ram air decals so i picked these up off ebay for real cheap. Washing/clay/waxing/detailing is a breeze. I just go right over them and they never peel up.
