Like I said you're alive. Just remember this lesson. And treat your next car with more respect in the rain.
hmmm well the speed limit was 70 and i was going about 65-68 soooo pretty sure thats not speeding.... and i treated that car with alot of respect, i just got caught out in a rain storm and had my cruise set and lost it going around a curve on the interstate so.... i guess that makes me SUCH A BAD DRIVER LEMME TELL YA!!!!

regardless of weather or not it was speeding in your area, 68 on a wet road in a RWD car is stupidity

    ^This.

To the OP: You missed my point entirely. Rain + high speed (regardless if it's the legal speed limit) = A greater than average probability that the car will lose traction.

That's what I meant by treat your car with respect. It's real easy to put a hi powered car in a position that you can't recover from especially on a wet road going round a curve.

Glad you're OK, it's only a car and you're only 18, you'll have many more fun cars in the years to come.

Sweet, but just like goat said, gotta make sure you don't under estimate that car man. Wouldn't want the same thing to happen to this WS6 your going to get.

Regardless of your situation it's a proven fact that more cars are wrecked by under 25 males than any other category.

This is why your insurance goes down at age 26.

While I don't like to admit it, back in the day I was proof positive of this...
