My buddy saise his lt1 trans am will run low 14's or high 13's all stock. i dont know much about lts and was wondering if his statements were true. can someone help me out?

I believe the LT1 was around 300 h.p. He's probably in the ballpark with his times.

My 94 Z28 ran a 13.9 stock on street tires at Pamona. I have seen many LT1's run mid 13's with just bolt on's.

Depending on a lot of things (elevation, weather conditions, the track itself, ect...) a LT1 stock could hit high 13s in the 1/4. Just ask Mr. Lous about how these things can affect a car's 1/4 mile times. He's a good example.
