    Questions with Illustration!

Well i just got the T/A like i had mentioned in another thread and its running great!

But i took these pics so i can ask you some questions!

Now in this first picture i noticed that there is a kinda grease or oil stain on the manifold. I checked the oil and all is well i was wondering if this is normal?

and in this one....im not sure what you call that device that the throttle cable is going through but this wire thats coming from it is exposed....should that be a problem and if so what can i do?

Other than that the car hasnt given me any issues and am very happy!

THanks in advance for the help!

In the first pic, isn't that your fuel line dripping? Do you smell gas?

After i read your post i went out there ran my finger through and smelled but there is no gas smell...then i turned on the engine and just watched it for a while to see if anything is dripping and i kept smelling around and so far i cant smell gas anywhere....

Thats weird i wonder what that stain could be? maybe he had a previous leak and he fixed it?...i wonder

The second picture with the exposed wire is the traction control. I would tape it up with some black electrical tape. You should be fine after that.

Clean up the engine bay real well with Simple green and low pressure water. That should remove whatever is on top of the intake and just keep an eye on it. Its hard to guess what it could be. Best thing to do is clean it, and see if it happens again.

don't let the simple green sit on any surface too long... it works well but i'm a little scared to use it on a few things ...
