    quarter panel?

OK so today some girl backed into the left rear quarter panel on my t/a IN TRAFFIC. dont ask how, but it happened- only to me. But before i take it to a body shop and have them throw on some cheap aftermarket tin replacement panel i want to see if by any chance someones got a GM one laying around that they would be willing to part with. Its an 02 ws6, i dont know if a camaro quarter is the same, i read somewhere that it is but i dont know - if it is the same and anyone knows of one thatd be great too... I just hate to put a cheap replacement panel on a car with 6,400 miles. Thanks in advance for any information

sorry just realized that probably belongs more in the parts wanted section. I will correct this post best i can...

Since i have already left a post in the want to buy section, where is the next place i should look to find a gm quarter panel, other than the gm warehouse? If i have to i can go there and get one, but i want to try and find one cheaper first since a brand new one will be another 6 or 700 on top of what im paying for my deductible.

Make sure you use GM paint that matches the rest of the cars paint.

was she uninsured or something? normally you shouldn't have to be worrying about this kind of thing...

depending how bad it is a body shop might just use filler and smooth it over, this would be the cheapest route.

next best would be finding someone on craigslist parting out a firebird, you could come out with a dremel and cut out as much of the panel as possible, $50 would be a fair estimate.

She has insurance and everything, i just know on the repair order on all my other cars' bodywork it says lkq part or whatever (aftermarket). I just want to make sure its a GM part, whether i have to supply it or not, and hopefully it will match and so on. I am freaking out about how it will turn out. Had plenty of bad experiences with multiple body shops, just hoping i found a good one finally.

lkq are parts from a recycled car. I bought fenders from a ws6 they had in stock. You can go to their website and do a parts search
