is the price worth the gain?

so i've been looking around and found some things and this is what i'm looking at:

    NEW CAMSHAFT:
Thunder Racing Custom "TRAK" Camshaft - 231/234-112
    ($384.99)

    NEW HEADS:
    Patriot Performance CNC Ported 243 LS6 / LS2 2.08"/1.60" 64cc Heads Assembled
    ($1295.00)

    TIMING CHAIN:
GM GEN III/IV Timing Chain Fits LS1/LS6/LS2/LS3/LS7
    ($44.99)

obviously i have to get a tune, but just those 3 parts are running me $1725 alone. then paying for a tune and stuff, is the power gain from these parts worth $1725 (my guess $2200 after tune)? is there a place i should be looking to get these parts for cheaper? all these parts are from Thunderracing. Thanks!

price match with other places man, Texas speed has great cam packages and their heads are also priced for a man on a "budget" lol

H/C/I will make it a different car. IMO it's worth it.

If I wasn't planning a new rear-end, this would be what I would be doing.

$/HP ratio sucks no matter what you do.

well, just found some knocking coming from my car, after all, none of it will happen, instead, looks like i'm going to be trying to find new pistons/crank...

I just did a TSP ms3 cam with a circle d stall and that alone made a huge difference, wish I could have got some heads but happy with the gain.
Also don't forget the pushrods $100 or so and I invested in a new high flow.oil pump as well. I just got some dual springs and a double roller chain.
Even without the heads just a cam makes the car more fun. Also I would stay away from thunder racing 3 transactions and none good. Texas speed and ws6 store are much better to deal with by far.
