i have a 02 formula and i bought a lid off of ebay for the 1998 and 1999 i did not realize that until i bought it is thier anyway i can make the lid work please reply anything will help

An aftermarket lid.. or a stock one? Take some pics of what you have... it would help us know what your prob is...

i have the 1998 to 1999 slp lid, the problem is that i have the 02 formula and thier is a tube that is connected to the duct resonator that the 1998 lid does no have place for

Ah.. yeah, that tube is from your air pump.. get a couple dollar filter from advance or autozone to put on the end of that and tuck it away.. or remove your air pump and hose all together.. if you dont; have emmissions.. but it might throw a code.. and you would need it tuned out... but go with the filter for now.

Np.. yeah.. its a little cylinder shaped one.. about 2" tall and 4" across.. about.. off the top of my head.. lol.. it was only a couple of bucks.. was in the "Ricer" section at Advance.

Np.. take some pics and post them now. (Disposable cameras aren't expensive and you can usually get the pics put on cds so you can post them since you don't have a digital....)
