has nothing to do with being a race car...you need that size to fill out the rear fenders and to put a nice size tire on them

alot of people go with the 9s or 9.5 and then want to swap the rear rims to something wider

its your car so do as you want BUT when you see everyone else with the 11s you will wish you did and be ready for all the comments saying you should have got 11s lol

btw most slicks are mounted on 10inch rim lol

it's the backspacing, not width. You can get narrower wheels with the correct backspace to fill the fenders. The oe wheels replica deep dish 17x11 on my dad's formula have more backspace than the factory zr1's he had, so the sit furth into the fender. Doesn't throw as much shit on the car either. And without 11" wheels he might not float in rain

yes i know this and im sure mike does to THATS why i didnt bring it up...11inch rim only has so much room to work with that are made to fit these cars so either way it wouldnt matter...AND i sure mike is not that stupid that he would get the backspacing to push the rim out on a 8in wide rim, some people have common scene

.I've always had factory wheels on my birds...but when the time comes to swap em out, I will take into account both points made here and determine which would be the best option for the car. I will admit that some fatties on the back would look nice. For now, the damn radiator. The bastard unplugged the low coolant sensor when he sold us the car. I should flame him since I know who he is on "another" forum. Now I gotta go over the car with extreme predjudice tomorrow to see if there was any other hidden gems.

I believe the size of the hose is 5/16's cause i had that problem earlier this year and got some free hose from a guy at auto zone who owned a 2001 ss and said it was a common problem. It took a little spit and elbow greese to get it on, but mine had a hole on in it and was making a loud whistling noise thats how i found it. They dont make pieace anymore from gm btw, so just get like 2 to 3 inchs of 5/16's hose and replace it for error cause I messed up on the first pieace of the hose I cut for it, its easy no big deal really!!

I have seen pictures on here of the assembly and I believe that inside it just has a regular style PCV valve. Pull yours apart and see what you have -- my guess is that you can fix it with either two different diameter hoses, or try the spark plug boot thing.
