oh ok. i get it now. yea. i pretty much do anything i can myself. especially on my car. when i first had to work on my car i was real busy at work and asked a shop to quote me a price. they said it would take $800 to just take the motor out and put it back and thats it. i told them " you're out of your fu#%*&$ minds " they think everyone is stupid i guess.

they are pretty easy, i have done three now. you can search the internet, for a manual on how to, i acctually used a tutorial in gmhightech that followed joe from t56rebuilds.com on a step by step process.

as for the ttop, is it leaking around the window, or somewheres else?

when i saw the leak i took off the T Top and the water traveled out of the plastic part that the key hole is in. and no water at all around the metal top of the car where the T Top sets. the rubber seal around the glass looks good to me. i'm thinking maybe the shafts that push into the plastic holes when yo lock it down are wore out allowing water to seep into that plastic part, but i can't figure out why there isn't any water getting on the top on the inside edge of the rubber seal that the top sets on. i'll have to chat more later tonight. i got an employee being a dumbass right now and i'm fixin to fire him.

You Might Try Adjusting The Latches Out To Get The Seal Better Against The Window

i ordered a tremec rebuild manual. where's a good place to buy a rebuild kit from? what parts and what kind need upgraded? like what type of syncro gears and whatnots need to be better than what's in your ordinary rebuild kit?
tutorial in gmhightech - where can i get a copy of that?
