if you want to make it faster but keep it quiet for you neighbors, do Long tubes, ORY or catted, and magnaflow exhaust.....the magnaflow exhaust will make it SLIGHTLY louder than stock even with the LT's at idle but when you get on it it will open up. The volant intake compared to the SLP cold air intake isnt going to have a noticable difference. Between the 2 intakes its all based upon the looks.

if your interested in a real simple exhaust upgrade I have an slp large Y pipe. Its bigger than stock, is not flattened under the drivers seat, bolts in with no problems. I just switched mine out. It does make the car a little louder.

Good luck with it and the most important is to have fun with the car. Built it with what you like. Most people on here hate SLP parts I happen to like my Slp catback better than any of the ones my friends have and the lids are cool but I liked the Volant look. There are some cool lids O have seen in clear and carbon fiber to set it apart from the plane black.
