    Pedal Squeak M6

Any of you guys have a clutch pedal squeak. I have a tic unit without the springs. Sounds like it is coming from the pivot but I need to take a closer look. I really hate the tic master cylinder for many reasons. Next time I am going stock.

Are you sure it is installed correctly? You are the first person I've ever seen complain about it.

My stock clutch squeaked about 70% of the time. I sprayed some white lithium on it and it hasn't made a sound in well over a year, now.

35th-Anniv Do you have a tic master cylinder? No real way to screw it up, two bolts. When you are coming up from the floor where does your clutch engage? mine is about half way up. My bolts were a little loose. Sounds like some of the noise is coming from inside the clutch housing, ie the new slave or release springs on the pressure plate. Other noise is inside the car. Where exactly do you spray it inside the car, the pivot?

Honestly, I just spreayed up under the dash, directly above the pedal (I'm too big to get under there where I can see what I'm doing). After spraying, I pumped the clutch pedal a couple of times to work the grease in an that was that.

If you can actually see what you are doing and reach with you hands, you might try petrolim jelly on the squeaky parts instead of spraying up there. You'll get a more precise application and it should last indefinitely.
