The Pavement Pounders Shootout is Back!

The 2013 Pavement Pounders Shootout took place on July 31, 2013 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. As you may know from past High Performance Pontiac coverage, the Shootout is an annual private-invitation drag race in which 14 cars go head-to-head in a showcase of brawny performance.The 2013 Pavement Pounders Shootout took place on July 31, 2013 at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio. As you may know from past High Performance Pontiac coverage, the Shootout is an annual private-invitation drag race in which 14 cars go head-to-head in a showcase of brawny performance. This year, fourteen cars gave it their all on the track, and starting in the March 2014 issue, each car will be given a spotlight to boast its build.
