Hey guys. Sorry for the long dry spell. I couldn't move forward until the transmission came back from Tick. It was a little delayred, as UPS "lost" it in Maryland for 4 days. the containor weighed 150 Lbs for f*** sake!
Anywho, I didn't want to put the engine back in without the trans bolted up. Too much aggrevation doing after. So as it stands now, I have the completed engine bolted to the completed sub frame. I', going to bolt up the clutch and trans, re-install the wiring harness, and bolt on the last few accesories. I plan on dropping the sub frame on some bolts after I square it up in relation to the car. This way I literally just drop the car down on top of the assembly. I'm going to drop a plumb bob(for you carpenters) from the sub frame mounts on the car to the corrasponsponding bolt hole in the sub frame. Lower the car with no need to shuffle the heavy assembly around. Simple!

Lookin' good! Great to see this project moving forward. It's that time of year you want to be driving that thing, not wrenching on it.

Yeah, shouldn't be much longer now. Hoping to get everything assembled tommorrow, and drop the car down next week. I'm on vacation, so I'll have time to get some work done.

Aaaaaalmost ready. I got the tranny mounted up, engine wired, accesories back on, and the whole assembly lined up on jack stands. I just have to top off the tranny fluid, and she goes back in! How the f*** are you supposed to fill the tranny with it in the car? Seems like it would be impossible.

Its really easy. You fill it with a suction gun or some sort of pump through the fill plug on the drivers side. Or you can pull the shifter off and pour it in there

You can also jam a piece of hose over the bottle (transfer it to an empty gear lube bottle if you need to) and then squeeze it in. Just be careful that the hose does not pop off or you'll have a mess. Sometimes helps to have an extra set of hands.

Okay, so it is a pita...lol. Yeah, I'll just fill it while it's on the floor. I made enough of a mess doing it that way

Well, the engine is in, wired, and hosed up. Battery was toast, so I had to jump it off my Sentra. Crank, crank, crank, nothing.
    I have no fuel pressure.
    Unsure on spark.
My Diablo won't recognize the ignition as being on.
Too tired for this crap. Back at it in the morning.

It could be the ground attached to the rear of the left cylinder head. Its the ground for the Fuel Pump Relay, PCM, and Mass Air Flow sensor among other things.

Oh, you mean the one I forgot to hook up before lifting in the engine?

I found that yesterday checking all of the connections. I'm in the process of hiring a 2 year old with mechanical knowledge that can actually fit his hand in there. Gonna be a pita!

Okay, good news bad news. I got the ground hooked up and it brought my ignition back online. I was able to connect with the Diablo to set my fan temps and whatnot.
Unfortunately, still no fuel. I pulled the relay from the air pump and the A/C and popped them in the fuel pump spot. No dice. I checked the fuses, and they're all good. I find it hard to believe my pump would die just because it sat for 6 months.

You could check for power and ground back at the fuel pump connector while cranking the engine. The power wire is gray and the ground is black.

so unless the pump ground is bad, sounds like you have a bad fuel pump.
You could try banging on the tank while someone cranks the engine to see if you can "free" up the fuel pump, but...

And the pump ground is the one that I just ran the the head, or is there another?
